It is said that once, when the palace caught fire, all the classics managed by Zongzheng were taken out, except for a brief record of the ancestor of Chu, Han, which was burned. The King of Chu was furious and wanted to execute Zongzheng. He said to King Wu of Chu, "The surnamed classics were burned by the heavenly fire. This is a message from heaven that Chu wants to start writing a new chapter from you." King Wu of Chu was overjoyed, but then said, "Nevertheless, the classics of our ancestors cannot be omitted!" So he recited the record orally, starting from the sixth son of Lu Zhong in ancient times, and reciting it from generation to generation, even every generation. The era of the birth, death, and ascension of the legitimate son is not at all bad. King Wu of Chu was both surprised and delighted.
