Hongtong Dahuaishu Root-Seeking and Ancestral Worship Park Co., Ltd. was established in October 2005, succeeding the Dahuaishu Root-Seeking and Ancestral Worship Park Management Office. With the support and guidance of governments at all levels, it successfully underwent restructuring and reorganization in 2005, launching a comprehensive program of development, construction, and management for the “Hometown of the Chinese People—Sacred Land of Our Ancestors: Hongtong Dahuaishu Scenic Area.” The company boasts well‑established Party, administrative, trade union, and Youth League organizations, comprising two offices, eight departments, one team, and four subsidiaries. It has adopted a strategic framework centered on the integrated development of the scenic area, with folk‑style restaurants and travel agency operations as its two supporting pillars, and tourism‑product development and cultural‑media initiatives serving as complementary growth drivers. Scenic Introduction

Hongtong Dahuaishu Ancestral Root‑Seeking and Ancestor‑Worship Park is a national AAAAA‑rated tourist attraction, a site of Ming‑dynasty emigration, and a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province. Renowned worldwide for the large‑scale, state‑sponsored migrations of the early Ming period, it is the only folk‑worship sanctuary in China dedicated to “root‑seeking” and “ancestor veneration,” earning the reputation of “the ancestral home of the Chinese people and the sacred land of our roots.” Today, the park features more than 60 scenic and cultural attractions, organized into five thematic zones: the “Ancient Migration Relics Area,” the “Ancestor‑Worship Activity Area,” the “Folklore Tourist Area,” the “Fen River Ecological Zone,” and the “Comprehensive Service and Supporting Facilities Area.”
