On Qingming Festival, April 5, 2022, the Hongtong Great Locust Tree Scenic Area will, as scheduled, host the 32nd Ancestral‑Seeking and Ancestor‑Worship Ceremony, continuing to preserve and promote the national intangible cultural heritage of the “Great Locust Tree Ancestor‑Worship Tradition.” To ensure public health and safety, the ceremony will be closed to the general public and will instead be presented through recorded broadcasts on Hongtong Television and other online platforms. Visitors and descendants of those who migrated are warmly invited to join us online to honor the history of migration, collectively pay tribute to their ancestral forebears, and partake in this rich celebration of intangible cultural heritage.
