Folklore Village
The Folk Village is a replica of traditional local courtyards, built to reflect Hongtong’s distinctive regional character and tailored to different socioeconomic levels. Its interiors feature authentic, antique-style furniture, and it strives to showcase time-honored folk workshops, while also presenting displays of local customs, traditions, and signature crafts.
In addition, the folk village features a traditional threshing ground, a well house, a watermill, and the teahouse you see before you. There’s also the Kuixing Tower, where prayers for academic success are offered, and which hosts daily “Kuixing Pointing at the Dipper” performances. Visitors are welcome to explore at their leisure and experience the unique cultural charm of their ancestral home.
