Dedication of the Temple
The Xian Dian is a high‑status altar, serving as the place where offerings are arranged during rituals and also functioning as an activity space for the chief priest and other distinguished participants. Situated along the central axis of the ancestral‑veneration precinct, it measures five bays wide and five bays deep, with a single‑story, double‑eaved roof and verandas enclosing all four sides. Modeled after Ming‑dynasty architecture, its cruciform hip‑and‑gable roof is seamlessly integrated with a Ming‑style stage. Both its height and span rank first in the Three Jin region, making it an exceptionally grand sight among folk ritual sites and a rare example even on a national scale.
