The culture of the Dahuaishu migrants has exerted a significant influence not only across the Central Plains and North China, but also throughout the nation and even overseas. To ensure that descendants of these migrants—scattered across China and the world—can reconnect with their ancestral homeland, and to enable those who have been away for many years to return and pay their respects, the scenic area has, over the years, tirelessly conducted extensive field research, visiting numerous counties and cities in northern China and enduring countless sleepless nights. Thus, the “Dahuaishu Migration Evidence Exhibition Hall” was brought to life. Each artifact on display may appear ordinary at first glance, yet each carries a poignant story, serving as a powerful testament to the history of migration.
